Your fund accountant records a single general ledger entry with separate lines for the investment call and the management fee call. Allocations for each investor are calculated by Investran Accounting, and a call letter, using the latest CRM data, is automatically generated and published onto SunGard DX by Investran Reporting Services.  After you review and approve some of the letters, you send out an email notification through SunGard DX alerting them about the call.  Each investors receives an email with a link taking them straight to the letter.  Optionally, while your investors are on SunGard DX, you can even allow them to run a "dynamic, real-time" capital account statement that will query your Investran system.

Investran's Reporting Services provides a seamless interface between Investran's highly optimized reporting and performance measurement engine and third party tools such as Crystal Reports and Microsoft Office providing Investran users with drag-and-drop formatting capabilities with no programming skills required, powerful data access and retrieval, and presentation-quality results.  Reporting Services also provides automatic assembly of multiple reports into books and the ability to automate deployment and scheduling of the output for e-mailing, printing, faxing, and archival on SunGard DX.

Investran's Web Reporting Services provides SunGard DX and SunGard Investran clients with a real-time, direct connection to the Investran back office system from the SunGard DX Virtual Data Room.  With this module, clients can save dynamic reports in the Investran system which can then be executed by only those SunGard DX users who have been granted access.   A fund manager can use this feature to publish real-time account statements and investors can execute and download these reports straight into their Excel spreadsheets.
